Web Promotions expected to increase.

Borrell Associates today released a new study anticipating traditional digital advertising (banner ads, search engines, etc) to be outpaced by new interactive marketing concepts.  The research claims online promotions such as contesting and coupons will increase from $8-billion in 2007 to $22-billion in 2012.

Right now, digital marketing of this kind accounts for only 22% of the $37-billion spent online.  But, that’s all going to change!
